Rekindled Audiobook Available March 2018
The Audiobook of Rekindled, narrated by Christopher Lee Lopez, is now available most places digital audiobooks are sold. Examples include Amazon and Audiobooks.com. Both sites need reviews to help others find the book, so please leave a review if you have not already!
I first heard Christopher Lee Lopez at a networking event for up and coming talent in the entertainment industry. His voice was clear and warm, and his heart full of passion for a charitible cause for the homeless in LA. Roger Williams was once homeless — and recovered to found what became Rhode Island, as well as the Baptist church in America. As we talked, we realized what a great match the book and his voice could be.
Both of us will be in LA at booth #967 at LA Times Festival of Books, April 21 and 22, 2018. We’ll have limited stock for sale of a CD version of the audiobook made from the .wav files (files that are not as compressed as the ones commonly used for digital books). Careful thinking about the line between the freedom to live our consciences while respecting the civil rights of others— and exactly what all is included in civil rights — has never been more relevant. Everyone should understand the thinking behind why freedom of conscience (stated as freedom of religion), and the separation of religion and government behind it, became the solution to limiting persecution. Rekindled is a accessible way to learn that history as a foundation to thinking through the issues for our day.
