AdaCards Weekly Update (14 June 2021)

Series 2 Card Design Contest Winner
We are happy to announce the winner of the design contest for the Series 2 card background: Jerryc137! The second series of our Shelley Era cards will feature Mary Shelley, author and wife of Percy Shelley, for whom the current Cardano era is named. Thanks for your submission, Jerry — we can’t wait to use this design for our new cards!
Teaser: AdaCards NFT Game Launching Soon!
Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we share our plans for a unique game that you can play with your AdaCards collection! The game will launch shortly after the Series 2 release. For now, here are a few tidbits of information:
- You can play with both Series 1 and 2 cards.
- Compete against others to win NFT trophies!
- Build your deck by trading cards with other collectors.

SPO Signups for Series 2
Stake pool signups for Series 2 are still live! SPOs that would like to be included in our second AdaCards release can sign up here.
Series 1 Wrap-Up
On June 25th, we will burn all remaining Series 1 cards and re-mint them as Series 2 cards. This will allow the original Series 1 stake pools to participate in Series 2 without increasing the cap of 500 cards per stake pool in the Shelley Era. If you’d like to get your hands on a pack of the first edition of AdaCards, be sure to get them before they’re gone!
