Those users that prefer Apple devices have already tried ADAMANT for iOS. However, we decided to push even further and developed not only a mobile version of the platform but also one for Mac OS. This means that people all over the world can now use the blockchain messenger via PC.

While working on the newest version of ADAMANT PWA, the development team added an Electron build in the app. Thanks to this build, users do not need a particular browser to start chatting or sending coins — they will have to download and install the app and work via it directly.

What does it do?

The desktop version has the same features as the latest PWA, which are messaging and coin transmission. Furthermore, there are eight coins available for sending and receiving: ADM (the project’s token), ETH (Ethereum), BNB (Binance Coin), BZ (Bit-Z coin), DOGE, DASH, KCS (KuCoin) and recently added a stablecoin USDS.

Additionally, users can interact with various bots: exchange cryptocurrency, make bets on the Bitcoin rate and receive up-to-date information on ADAMANT forging pools. Surely, these features are available in PWA, too. However, the desktop version is more user-friendly and responsive, which makes it more convenient to work with.

How to get started

You can find all the necessary setup files on GitHub. They are attached to the PWA 2.0 release.

Firstly, go to the “Assets” section and download ADAMANT.Messenger-2.0.1.dmg. Then, run it as administrator. As soon as the app is installed on your Mac, sign in using your passphrase or QR code and start chatting! You can create a new account, if you do not have one, too.
