Find out what we’ve accomplished in April and what’s planned for in May!

April was one of the most eventful months we have seen in the recent past. We held Q1 2022 AMA to review quarter one, on April 14th. On this particular day, the best breaking news our community had been waiting for was unveiled. The greatest highlight of April was the gas solution that allows individuals to earn ADB as soon as they perform tasks and the tasks submitted get verified. April also saw the launch of more tasks. Below are the April highlights.

Gas solution: High cost of gas had been a challenge for a long time. The high cost of gas required Blade users to accumulate ADB ten times the cost of gas to have them automatically transferred to their ERC20 wallet. Moving forward, the threshold requirement has been eliminated. Conor developed a sidechain solution that we have all been looking forward to. Polygon, situated on layer 2 of Ethereum, has allowed us to eliminate the reward threshold and send rewards instantly upon task verification to users for 10,000x (times) less gas than the Ethereum Mainnet.

The good news is that you will not lose the ADB that you have accumulated on the Blade app. Your earned ADB will be transferred to the polygon network once you complete the next task on Blade and the task gets verified. However, you will be required to update your Blade wallet address to one that is not linked to an exchange. For example, Metamask wallet will do or any other ERC20 wallet that is not linked to an exchange.

Revised 2022 roadmap: Following the finding of a gas solution, it was necessary to revise our 2022 roadmap and incorporate the tech changes, developments, and updates that will come with this shift to Ethereum Layer 2 migration. Read more about the revised 2022 roadmap here.

Launch of more tasks: Two tasks were launched in April. The tasks are by the Pizza Party team which required Twitter follows. We also had a YouTube task on the Blade Task marketplace that required Blade users to subscribe to a YouTube channel. We look forward to more tasks as the Blade Self-serve platform gets more adoption.

The Self-serve platform: The Blade self-serve platform that was launched on 14th February is slowly gaining users. We began and shall continue to market the solution the Beta Partner offers individuals and MSMEs including NFT projects to grow their social media reach fast, cost-effectively, and with an affordable budget. Anyone can launch microtasks on the Self-serve platform.

Some of the key benefits and solutions users will drive from the system are:

i) Ability to launch individual tasks such as Twitter follows, YouTube subscriptions, and referral signup to your websites among others.

ii) Partner/ individual launching the task will be able to schedule when their task(s) will run. You can launch more than one task.

iii) Beta partner system is easy to use.

iv) Competitive task pricing. With as little as 20,000 ADB, you will be able to define entries (launch tasks on the self-serve platform). This ensures no one is locked.

v) Since the system is powered by blockchain, you can track the performance of your tasks in real-time.

The Beta Partner Sign-up Promotion: We launched the Blade Self-serve platinum sign-up bonus. The promotion targeted the first 10 people to launch tasks. Each account would be rewarded with 50,000 ADB upon the successful launch of task(s). The ADB bonus can be used to run more tasks. We have had several signups and a few people have launched tasks.

Marketing: Videos are currently the real deal. We have stepped up the creation of short explainer videos about the self-serve platform, our promotions, and the Blade app. These will continue to create more awareness about the Blade app and the self-serve platform. The videos are shared on our YouTube channel and the TikTok account. We also promote posts and videos that gain traction to reach a bigger audience.

Webinars: April saw several webinars hosted by Jamlick. During the webinars, we share crypto information so that participants can make informed choices on matters of digital assets. We also inform participants of Adbank’s solution. Be on the lookout for these webinars and invite your friends to join to learn about the solutions we are providing through the blade app and self-serve platform.

LOOKING AHEAD

Launch of more tasks: We anticipate and look forward to the creative ways the Adbank community will come up with to utilize the great benefits of the self-serve platform and launch microtasks. The higher the number of tasks being launched, the more the utility of ADB, bringing value to the ecosystem. We are also reaching out to NFT projects to use the Beta partner to launch tasks. We welcome you to refer NFT projects and other individuals who are looking for an efficient way to run their social media campaigns.

We have extended the Sign-up bonus promotion to the end of May. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can launch task(s) and earn the 50,000 ADB. You could be asking if you are eligible to run a task? Anyone can run a campaign on the Self-serve platform. Read this medium blog to learn more.

Accumulate more ADB: As you are aware, the Hold rewards and referral programs are now permanent. Don’t miss out on these bonuses. You will continue to earn 10% of what the people you refer earn. However, you need to be KYC-verified to get the referral rewards. Remember you can appeal to redo your KYC in case it fails during the initial attempt. To void failing KYC, always submit clear images and follow the step-by-step process. The hodl rewards will soon be integrated into the polygon network. We urge our members to save their passphrases safely when setting up their Blade accounts.

Aggressive marketing: You will continue to see more content on all the social media platforms with a bias on YouTube and TikTok platforms. We shall launch referral competitions around the same to drive Blade user growth and adoption of the self-serve platform.

Tech: Referral rewards for launching campaigns will be developed in Q2. Conor is working on the Web3 version of Blade. Regular updates on the #BLADE app which continue to give our users a great experience are ongoing. The tech team will be on standby to offer support with the self-serve platform.
