Welcome new staff member Catherine Toovey, Marketing Coordinator

A big welcome to our newest staff member, Catherine Toovey! Catherine is a marketing specialist with over five years experience in digital marketing, including SEO writing, email marketing, and more. Catherine attended Georgian College in Barrie for Graphic Design and brings over eight years of visual communication skills to the table.

As Marketing Coordinator, Catherine will be working closely with Angelo, Kelsey and the rest of the marketing team. Catherine will be executing marketing efforts in support of the 2019 roadmap, including promoting the BLADE browser extension. More specifically, Catherine will be taking on content writing, email marketing, social media management, and hanging out in the Telegram channel, among other responsibilities.

In addition to her experience with a wide breadth of industries, from medical devices, to not-for-profits, to consumer electronics, Catherine’s most recent position was in the exciting and tumultuous world of legalized cannabis in Canada. We know she’ll be a great fit with the crypto/blockchain world and we’re excited to have her join the team!

Like the rest of the Collingwood office, Catherine lives in a snowy forest in Ontario and knows the importance of a good set of winter tires. You can find out more about her on LinkedIn.
