The official swap portal is set to be shut down by 00:00 (UTC) on January 16, 2024. Post this date, users will no longer have access to the portal or be able to conduct cross-chain transfers through it. Please refrain from interacting with this platform or its associated smart contracts to prevent potential asset loss.
Since its inception during the aelf Mainnet Token Swap, the portal has played a crucial role in assisting ELF holders in transferring tokens from Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to the aelf Mainnet, facilitating a widespread migration to the aelf ecosystem. Operating on a 1:1 ratio, the portal receives ELF in the form of ERC-20 and BEP-20 tokens and swaps them for Mainnet ELF tokens.
A portion of the deposited ERC-20 tokens has already been burned, as detailed in a prior announcement. The remaining ERC-20 tokens will be permanently locked within the contract. Additionally, all the deposited BEP-20 tokens have been burned, the records of which can be found here.
For aelf community users and ELF token holders with swap requirements, aelf recommends using our ecosystem DApp, eBridge. This cross-chain bridge facilitates two-way swaps of ELF tokens between aelf and Ethereum or BSC. It also supports similar swaps for various other tokens like USDT, ETH, BNB, etc. Please refer to their blog for more details.
Exchanges that are integrated with the aelf Mainnet also support the withdrawal of Mainnet ELF, including Binance, Bithumb, Upbit, Huobi Global, OKX, and Gate.io. Specifically, Binance supports deposits for four types of ELF tokens (aelf Mainnet, ERC-20, BEP-20, and BEP-2) and withdrawals for three types (aelf Mainnet, ERC-20, and BEP-20).
