aelf’s Legend X Hackathon is continuously receiving new applications and some of the projects are now available for test or use. Given into consideration that newly submitted projects might be working to a tight deadline and required information for certain projects is still missing, we decide to extend our submission deadline by 14 days to mid-June.

The new timeline is as follows:

  • Submission Deadline: June 15
  • Grant Deadline: June 23
  • Judging: June 23 — June 27
  • Winner Announcement: June 30

We sincerely hope the two weeks deadline extension would be of great help to projects that just start building and relieve the pressure on participants to submit the required information. Also, the Grant portal keeps open until June 23, leaving our community members more time to explore new projects and vote.

Event Rules:

All participants must provide the following materials to be qualified for our judging.

  1. A project written in C# and capable of fully running and functioning on aelf;
  2. The URL of a demo video (3 mins) that fully illustrates the philosophy, functionality, and blueprint of the project; (the video should be uploaded to YouTube, made public, and named following the format “aelf [PROJECT NAME]” or “$ELF [PROJECT NAME]”);
  3. Open-source projects should provide a public repository (like GitHub) where the source code is stored. For closed-source projects, access to the code should be given to judges;
  4. Introduction of the participants;
  5. Contact information;
  6. A wallet address of aelf’s side chain (tDVV chain) for claiming ELF donated by the community. (Each project should provide one address that’s approved by all team members)

Once you have prepared all the necessary materials, you are welcome to submit your project!

*As a great deal of the existing projects failed to provide a side-chain wallet address in the beginning, we strongly recommend you to read the tutorial beforehand and contact aelf team whenever you need help.

Evaluation Criteria

An evaluation of all successfully submitted projects will begin after the submission session ends. It is performed by our professional judging panel based on the following criteria:

Technological Implementation 20%

Project Innovation 30%

Value to aelf Ecosystem 30%

Market Potential 10%

Code Integrity 10%
