Last Prize-Giving for aelf’s 1&2 Hackathons

All hackathon projects have claimed their prizes and awards.

Almost half a year has passed since the grand conclusion of aelf’s second hackathon. During this period, aelf proactively enhanced its infrastructure and contracts so as to facilitate developers’ deployment and provide them with a more friendly environment. Participants of aelf’s two hackathons, Top of Oasis and Legend X, demonstrated much enthusiasm for completing or perfecting their projects.

September witnessed the first prize-giving for these hackathons where most of the winning projects had met the standards. And for those who still needed time to put their finishing touches, a second prize-giving date was set at December 15. Within this three and a half months, aelf team supported developers’ building and aelf Academy successfully delivered their decentralized peer-to-peer learning platform. Now, we are glad to announce that the evaluation of all the participating projects is done and the prizes/ awards have all been distributed to teams and individuals who have met the conditions. Though it’s the official end of aelf’s first two hackathons, the expansion of aelf ecosystem never stops and cooperation continues between aelf and these developers, including some of those who failed to complete their works by the deadline. In the future, aelf will consistently provide all necessary assistance to our ecosystem projects and try our best to keep them as our long-term partners.

With two hackathons successfully hosted and more than 10 projects deployed or well on the way to full deployment, aelf is well-prepared for the next phase of its ecosystem growth. Hosting more events and programs like these to boost aelf’s influence is at the top of our agenda and there will be hackathons, grants, and bounties. Some bounties have already been posted and are ready for application. In terms of technology support, aelf is adopting cloud-native computing, empowering developers to build scalable applications and enabling the acceleration of projects’ development velocity and growth. We are dedicated to our vision of providing the one-stop solution to Web3 and supporting its growth for the next 5–10 years.
