Connect AirGap Wallet to your favourite DApp with WalletConnect
By usingWalletConnect, you can easily connect your AirGap Wallet to various DApps. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to connect a DApp with AirGap Wallet using Wallet Connect.
WalletConnect is an open protocol that allows your mobile wallet to connect with DApps securely. It facilitates interaction between wallets and DApps without exposing your private keys, ensuring that your assets remain secure during transactions.
AirGap Wallet also supports DApp connections via WalletConnect. As WalletConnect is supported by numerous DApps, it provides you with a vast ecosystem to explore.
By pairing AirGap Wallet with Wallet Connect, you can benefit from its wide availability in DApps without sacrificing your security.
One thing that should also be noted is that Wallet Connect works on AirGap Wallet and not AirGap Vault. This way, AirGap makes sure that your private keys are always in isolation.

Connect AirGap Wallet with Uniswap via WalletConnect
- Launch the DApp with which you want to connect to.
2) Find the Connect Wallet button on the DApp and click on it.
3) Choose Wallet Connect. A QR code will appear.
4) Now, open the AirGap Wallet app and tap on the ’Scan QR code’ button on the home screen. After that, scan the QR code with your phone.
5) Confirm the connection request on AirGap Wallet.
6) That’s it. You have successfully connected your AirGap Wallet to Uniswap via WalletConnect.
Making a transaction
- Let’s take an example of an ETH-wETH swap at Uniswap. As our wallet is already connected, just click on wrap/swap.
2) You will get a prompt on AirGap Wallet to confirm the transaction.
3) Go ahead and check the transaction details. Then, tap ‘Confirm’. Then, you’ll be required to sign the transaction with the AirGap Vault app.
4) When you’re done, confirm the transaction on AirGap Wallet. That’s it. Your transaction is successfully broadcasted on the blockchain.
