ALAX is a Mobile Game Distribution Platform, based on blockchain technology, which is set to transform the gaming industry around the world. It is a joint venture from blockchain technology business DECENT and app and game distribution platform Dragonfly and aims to provide a platform for content creators and gamers alike, including ‘unbanked’ consumers worldwide. The ALAX partnership means DECENT’s proprietary blockchain technology will be immediately rolled out to Dragonfly’s over 100 million active users.
So, what does Minimum Viable Product (MVP) mean?
It is a new product or website developed with sufficient features to satisfy early adopters by showing it has enough value that people are willing to use it or buy it initially, demonstrating its future benefits and by providing a feedback loop to guide future development — in ALAX’s case the development of the beta version which is planned to be launched in September this year.
What is explained in ALAX’s MVP video guide?
The app store will, of course, provide a wide range of games available for purchase with prices listed in ALA tokens. By logging into his private profile, the user will be able to:
- store the tokens in his ALAX wallet
- see the balance of his ALA credit
- send the tokens to other wallets
- receive the tokens by inserting the voucher code from the top-up card purchased from the vendor or by simply scanning the card’s QR code
- see an overview of all of the incoming and outcoming transactions
