- Jack Liu, the founder and CEO of ALLIVE, attended Demo China Autumn Summit 2018 as the invited speaker
On September 8, Jack Liu was invited to the 2018 Demo China Autumn Summit 2018, hosted by CYZONE and Hangzhou Municipal Government. He presented a keynote speech at the healthcare session to share his thoughts on the application and investment of blockchain technology in healthcare industry.
Jack first shared his thoughts on the development of blockchain industry. From blockchain 1.0 represented by digital currency to blockchain 3.0 represented by blockchain industries, the underlying logic of multi-party trust and data confirmation remains unchanged.
Jack also pointed out in the speech that the distrust between different parties involved limits the development of the traditional business model, but the emerging business model that combines blockchain and healthcare industry is expected to provide a solution. Based on the new business model, the marginal cost can be infinitely close to zero, and therefore leaves great scalability to business activities around health services, medical services, drug discovery, drug traceability, mutual medical insurance, and health consumption.
Jack Liu was also invited as one of the judges in the healthcare session of the Demo China Autumn Summit 2018. He awarded the champion of the session, and issued the promotion certificate to next round.
The summit ended successfully at InterContinental Hangzhou, attracted 2000+ investment institutions, 200+ media, and 3000+ start-ups in total.
About Demo China

- Forest Gao, the co-founder and COO of ALLIVE, attended the ‘Find Chinese Entrepreneurs’ Season 4 as a judge in healthcare session
On September 7th, ‘Find Chinese Entrepreneurs’ Season Four 2018 Roadshow ended successfully in Beijing. Forest Gao was invited as a judge in the healthcare session, with many other founders and co-founders of investment companies, including Zigeng Dai, Yuechun Wang, Jin Wang, Lin Wang, Daqing Mao, etc.
Before the roadshow, Find Chinese Entrepreneurs invited Forest Gao to comment on overall situation of healthcare industry. Forest said that the bubble in the venture capital industry has spread to healthcare field, causing less financing this year. However, companies that concentrated on technology innovation are still booming. There will be more participants in the field of AI, blockchain, genetic diagnosis and immunotherapy technology.
Meanwhile, Forest pointed out that there will be more applications combining health management with new technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. The first batch of Internet users is nearly 50 years old. Their emphasis and aspiration to health, along with their economic capability, can bring in tremendous opportunities for healthcare industry.
