Announcing AltConf 2019

We’re very excited to confirm AltConf is returning for 2019! Hosted in the wonderful Marriott San Jose, just a stone’s throw away from WWDC itself, we’ll be open from Monday June 3 through Thursday June 6, bringing you all your favourite events plus a few new additions!

Speaker tracks

As usual, you’ll find two speaker tracks with community members giving talks on a wide range of topics. Want to be one of our speakers? Sign up here!

And of course, keep an eye on altconf.com for the schedule. And of course we’ll be closing the conference out with the wonderful James Dempsey recapping the week with his unique, custom week-in-review songs!

Community Labs

We’re bringing Labs back for the second year running. After the resounding success of labs in 2018, we’re hosting community labs again in 2019. Labs are a place to get expert advice, discuss ideas, and learn something new. You can submit an idea for a lab you want to host here. We’ll curate and try to bring themes together, so don’t worry about having to host a whole room yourself!

Sponsors

We wouldn’t be able to put AltConf on without them, so please do give them a visit throughout the week!

Escape Room!

A brand new event for AltConf that we are very excited about, the brilliant Chadwick Severn will be hosting an Apple themed escape room right at AltConf. Can you and your friends use all your Apple skills and knowledge to rescue the upcoming keynote?!

The escape room will be a ticketed event due to anticipated demand, and will have a small fee to cover costs and ensure that attendees show up! You can find more information over on escapethekeynote.how and get tickets from altconf.com. Once you purchase your tickets, you will be sent a link to book a timeslot.

Looking forward to seeing you all in San Jose in June! Follow us on Twitter @AltConference for more updates!

If you can’t make it to San Jose, but are keen not to miss out, why not check out our AltConf Satellite events, coming to London, Paris, Berlin and Madrid on June 3! You can read all about them here.
