API3 seeks feedback from contributors so we can improve the accuracy, utility and user experience of the tracker to optimize DAO governance. As such, we welcome the ecosystem to participate in a two-part bounty challenge.

Introducing the API3 DAO Tracker

The API3 DAO Tracker has been developed to support decentralization by allowing all participants to have access to the data to effectively govern the DAO.

The tooling allows participants to understand key on-chain metrics surrounding governance. Specifically, the tracker watches on-chain DAO events and displays each participant’s history and overview of staking rewards.

Bounty 1: Community Challenge — Unlocking the potential of tracker.api3.org

API3 welcomes community members to share ideas on how to optimize the DAO Tracker for decentralized governance.

Overall best submission — 600 API3
Runners up x 3–250 API3

For more information or to participate follow the process within the below API3 Forum post: https://forum.api3.org/t/unlocking-potential-of-the-api3-dao-tracker-bounty-challenge/1840

Bounty 2: Bug reporting — ensuring the accurate display of on-chain analytics for governance

API3 is offering a monetary reward for successfully discovering and reporting a vulnerability or bug that would affect the DAO Tracker functionality that may mislead governing parties. For example, a bug might be that the parameters of a proposal are being displayed incorrectly.

For every valid bug reported, no matter the size, we offer 200 API3 and will award a maximum of 8 prizes for this category.
