There seems to be a contradiction, though, in the idea that if you can (correctly) divide the Bond film into Classic and Modern ones there could be an outing that synthesizes both of them into a single film: Skyfall. SF’s biggest failure was to stray from the continuity established by CR and carried on by QoS, which is indeed a very good Bond film…
