IDT300x Week 3 Assignment: Design a flyer, brochure, or announcement and evaluate using the Digital Media Evaluation Checklist.
I created this flyer for my side business, Koloa Design using Canva. The flyer advertises a Koloa Design product, digital cards, and offers a 30% off coupon code.
I drew the Koloa Design logo in Procreate which I exported as a PNG with transparent background. For the purposes of this flyer, I layered the logo on top of a white circle to help it stand out on the purple background.
The photo of the hand holding a phone is from unsplash.com. I created the mock-up of sending a digital card by actually sending it on my own phone and then taking a screenshot. I used Canva to add the mock-up to the photo.
I used the most restrictive Creative Commons license for this work because it was required to use a CC license, though I don’t believe it really applies to this type of work.
