We’ve spoken about PAM, one of our open source tools, a number of times on the blog:

Since those original articles were published the Pandemic Activity Modifier has been rebranded as Population Activity Modeller (preserving the acronym is very important), and is now our most popular open source project, recently receiving its first external contribution from the community. You can see more about the project on its GitHub page.

While pulling together material for some recruitment (more on that to follow shortly) I rediscovered a video that showcases PAM and tells the story behind it. So here are City Modelling Lab team members Ella and Fred talking about some of the work we do, and why and how we do it!

As we move into 2023 we’re having a push on communications so expect to see more regular updates from us over the coming weeks.
