Sankara (Adi Shankaracharya)

The foremost exponent of the Vedanta was Sankara. He really was an avatar of God.

In just 32 years of his young life, he wrote wonderful commentaries on many aspects of the Vedanta, especially the Brahmasutra and also various other works.


Yoga Vasistha

The Yoga Vasistha is one of the most important books of the Sanathan Dharma.

It is the finest scripture in the world after the Upanishads.

It is a very long book and there are no true versions of the complete text.


The Sakyamuni (The Buddha)

The Sakyamuni says that one must not have desire and attachment, and that desire (craving) is the root cause of all suffering.

Below is my interpretation:


Kautilya on a Raja Rishi (Sage King or Ideal Leader)

Kautilya has clearly specified the rules for an Ideal King.

Such ideal kings were called Raja Rishis (Sage King).


धर्म Dharma

There is no correct English translation of the word Dharma.

The closest meaning is a virtuous way of conduct and living but this is not even a 20% completely accurate nor comprehensive translation.


योग Yoga

There are many versions of योग Yoga. Some versions of योग Yoga derive from Tantra.

The most subtle and profound version of yoga is covered in the Yoga Vasistha.
