Our open interface for Melon is here! Now, we want YOU to build on it!
You love Melon as much as we do? You have great ideas for use cases on top of it? You would like to contribute something to the Melon ecosystem and earn a couple of MLN as reward? Talk to us and sign up for the Ash hackathon in Q1 2020!

Topic: Open Interface Integrations

As part of our 2019/20 roadmap we recently open sourced the Ash white-label interface for Melon on desktop and mobile. The interface is ready to be used by developers who want to further develop existing or create their own use cases for Melon. All proprietary Ash app elements have been removed and calls have been switched from the Ash API to direct Ethereum/Melon protocol calls. The design is based on a systematic modular architecture that enables developers to adapt, customize and expand the functionality according to their needs. To kick-off development on the Ash white-label interface we invite you to check out what we built and use it to expand the ecosystem of Melon-based use cases by integrating them with the interface. We are looking for creative integrations in the fields of:

1. Financial Products & Gamification (Best overall submission: 500 MLN; 2nd place: 250 MLN)

• Development of new services as Melon modules
• Design, (back-end/front-end design), development on smart contract level, testing
• Examples: Integration of Compound.finance Integration of the Ash challenge feature

2. Impact Investing (Best overall submission: 500 MLN; 2nd place: 250 MLN)

• Development of new services as Melon modules
• Design, (back-end/front-end design), development on smart contract level, testing
• Example: Integration of Giveth.io (for which we just released a Melon module — all info on Github)
