Beam Web Wallet Alpha 6.2 — Release Notes

The Beam Web Wallet Alpha is here!

This release is an early version, and therefor should be used with care and small amounts of funds, before moving out of Alpha.

Install the Beam Web Wallet extension now!

The wallet allows you to conveniently hold, send and receive your Beam coins by using addresses in a convenient, safe and secure manner. This early implementation aims to have the basic functions ready and working well, before adding functionality and bringing up to speed with the desktop and mobile wallets.

Integration with DApps, including BeamX DAO, the Faucet, and the upcoming NFT Marketplace will be released soon!

Key Features:

• Sending and receiving Beam coins using different types of addresses
• Observing the status of your transactions in real time

Important information:

• activeTab permission is used to connect the extension to DApps

Known Limitations:

• Brave browser users will need to ensure they are using the latest Brave release in order for the Web Wallet to operate smoothly
• Do not simultaneously run two wallets initiated from the same seed phrase.
