Bible verses: Mark 11:23, Joshua 1:8a
Joshua 1:8a
This book of law shall not depart out of thy mouth;….
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Confessing God’s word

In part B of this series, we talked about engaging meditation as a divine connection tool, today, we will be studying the aftermath of meditation related to confession of God’s blessings received during meditation.

What is Confession?
Confession in this context refers to the proclamation of Gods blessings in our life. It helps bring to life the blessings confirmed through meditation as you declare them with Faith.

Why should I confess his blessings?
1. God commanded us to do so in order to enjoy the fullness of his blessings Joshua 1:8a, Psalm 35:28.
2. We become what we say Matthew 12:34, Prov 23:7.
3. Power lies in your tongue Prov 18:21, 16:1

Who can confess?
Notice this phrase in Mark 11:23.

whosoever shall say unto this mountain

The responsibility is not for pastors alone but for all children of God. Don’t look down on yourself, Jesus himself said ‘whosoever’ that is, any one, maybe a child or an adult, pastor or congregation.

How should I confess?
You must:
1. Declare it with your mouth

…whosoever shall say…

2. Do not doubt, have faith

.. and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; …

Hebrew 11:6, Luke 17:6, Mark 11:22
Our faith shows that we believe that the word of God is true, we have to believe in the word of God enough for us to rely on it.
Considering Jesus healing ministry while on earth, most people got healed through their personal self faith, and not his faith..notice the word “thy faith” in almost all his miracles. Mark 5:34, Luke 8:48, 17:19, 18:42
The moment our heart truly agrees with the written word, that is when we enter faith, If our heart doesn’t agree with it or if we don’t rely on it (the word) , then we are not in faith.

What is the outcome?

Mark 11:23c

…he shall have whatsoever he saith…

The reward is straight forward, As you declare those blessings, then, it becomes yours and it starts manifesting.

We need to search through the scripture with the help of holy spirit for us to know what to believe in and confess.

1 Corinthians 2:12 (KJV)
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Confession brings about conformation and Transformation i.e the blessings confirmed through meditation, conforms & transforms you into the reality of the blessing.
