After moving to Detroit for a job with the big 3, Detroit quickly felt like home to Brandon and I. We found a 1927 Tudor in the beautiful, Historic University District neighborhood in Detroit that needed a lot of work. It had been vacant for about 3 years, full of trash, junk, and squirrel poo, and a burst pipe on the 3rd floor…but we decided that we were up for the challenge. Between 6 & 7 follows us on our journey to bring our new home back to its former glory and becoming true Detroiters and Michiganders in the process.
