Why BitClave

Search has defined the utility of the internet from the very beginning. On Alphabet’s earnings call this quarter, Google’s year-over-year revenue shot up 24% — it’s an incredibly lucrative business that is anchored by our data (and advertisers with deep pockets), yet search as a global industry is overwhelmingly centralized.

With blockchain coming into the world (often regarded as the next internet) the team at BitClave is building a new engine that is centered around the user, ushering in a new era of utility. One that puts you in control of your activity and engagement on the internet. An experience that is completely private and secure, with advertisers paying you for readership, services or apps. It’s a fundamental shift that’ll redefine how we understand the internet. Does that sound familiar?

-Alex Shin

Alex will be an excellent addition to the BitClave team, and his advice on building successful anonymous platforms will be extremely helpful in our goal to build a marketplace where users can confidentially share their personal data.
