After I edited and published my essay anthology, Black Love Matters: Real Talk on Romance, Being Seen, and Happily Ever Afters, I wanted to have an ongoing space to talk about the places where we can really share and discuss the stories that have made us happy, seen, and loved. This is mostly a place for straight book reviews, but maybe some other pieces of media will have their day, especially as we talk about the heyday of romcom films on other social media.
