Web 3.0 Wallet of Choice — Welcome Ethos to the Boldstart Family!

At this point we’ve all heard of Web 3.0 and the potential it has to transform industries as we know it. As interest in Web 3.0 continues to grow, participation across various blockchains is drastically increasing. To those first being introduced to the world of Web 3.0, the barriers of entry are indeed high and difficult to navigate. However, with continued development of on-ramp infrastructure, these hurdles are eliminated as the space becomes more user-friendly.
Web 3.0 is only in its infancy and we’re already seeing significant traction picking up across various existing blockchains. Wallets serve as the primary gateway to Web 3.0 — ensuring the secure development of this piece of infrastructure will be vital in determining the future of crypto adoption.
Introducing Ethos, a new wallet solution being built on the Sui Blockchain, a highly anticipated blockchain to be launched this year. Through the launch of EthosConnect, it gave developers the flexibility to simultaneously connect all Sui-compatible wallets and onboard wallet-less users with email through their EthosConnect API. As a result, it makes it very easy for developers to create a great onboarding experience for experienced crypto users as well as those totally new to Web 3.0.
With the team’s dedication to the developer experience, we’re excited to announce our partnership with Ethos. Today Ethos announced their seed round of $4.2 million led by Boldstart Ventures and Gumi Cryptos Capital (gCC) with participation from Mysten Labs, Tribe Capital, Matrixport, Charge Ventures, Builder Capital, Alliance DAO, Meltem Demirors and others. Ethos intends to use the fresh capital to expand the team, continue to build upon their wallet, developer infrastructure, apps, and expand capabilities outside of traditional wallet functionality. As more new blockchains are launched, the number of wallet addresses increases significantly as dApps are built on top of those new solutions. Simplified UX and multi-chain capabilities will ultimately determine winners in the space. With Ethos, novice crypto users can discover new innovative dApps and engage with them directly from their Ethos Wallet Explorer.
All of this is made simple with just a few lines of code. It only takes minutes to set up and developers will be able to offer their dApps to all wallets on Sui as well as any wallet-less user.
