Project ORB update(Dec 20, 2016)
The first WILLCOIN sale comes to an end on Dec 22nd at 3PM(CET). We have sold more than 13,000 out of 20,000 WILLCOIN so far. Although we are very pleased with overwhelming support and positive feedback, there are still some unanswered questions from our users and we hope to clarify them where possible in this update.
Burning of Season 1 FoW cards
Currently, each FoW season 1 card has supply of 1,000 units(a total of 160,000 Season 1 cards in existence) and we have made 20,000 WILLCOIN available for sale. After considering more carefully about the current setup and its future implications, the FoW team along with Project ORB have decided to burn some of the cards, making them more scarce directly on the blockchain.
The exact process is being discussed at the moment but we are considering burning up to half of the total supply, making each Season 1 card supply 500 instead of 1,000. Beyond that, we may decide to burn some more cards following the rarity in the FoW game but this will require further consideration and discussion internally first.
WPS integration and WILLCOIN conversion rate
As announced previously, FoW players will be able to convert their WPP(Will Power Point), enclosed in a physical booster pack, to WILLCOIN starting next month(scheduled). The conversion rate between WPP and WILLCOIN are still under discussion as it affects not just the Project ORB but the existent FoW player community and the entire WPS system as well.
Although the rate is not set in stone yet and this may affect early WILLCOIN purchasers significantly, we intend to adjust the Season 1 card supply as well as ORB fountain drawing probability for Season 1 cards depending on the conversion rate to ensure fairness for both early participants and incoming FoW players joining from Season 2. That is, burning even more Season 1 cards and/or lowering the drawing probability of Season 1 cards will be considered.
We are going to announce the WPS integration details somtime next month before the conversion to WILLCOIN starts.
What to do with remaining WILLCOIN
If we don’t sell out all the 20,000 WILLCOIN by the end of the sale, we’ll keep the remaining amount for the next sale. Project ORB will NOT reserve or sell WILLCOIN outside the official sales(except for a small amount for testing, refunds and promotional giveaways)
As FoW is already an established game title with a real userbase, we are taking a more conservative approach based on the feedback, trying to make the transition of FoW players to the platform as smooth as possible. This will help us strike a good balance between encouraging early participation and attracting more mainstream users expected to join the network later on for sustainable growth of the entire concept and the community.

Batch ORB drawing feature added to Book of Orbs
Mid Jan:
Linkage between WPS and BoO starts and Season 2 ORBs will become available on the ORB fountain and probability for Season 1 cards get adjusted
First half of February:
Second WILLCOIN sale start
