The team at Boson Protocol is proud to reveal Auroboros as a launch partner for our flagship decentralized commerce experience connected by Boson Protocol.
We are building Portal in Decentraland where we completed a record-breaking real estate purchase in Vegas City. Portal is designed as a virtual lifestyle, commerce and cultural playground that seamlessly connects the metaverse with the universe.
Auroboros is the first of several Portal partnerships we are planning with some of the most cutting-edge companies in the fashion and digital wearables space.

The Partnership
Auroboros is a digitally native fashion brand, envisioning an imaginative, playful and expansive virtual universe that interconnects seamlessly with physical reality.
Auroboros produces physical couture based on material innovation and ready-to-wear digital clothing with zero waste and multi-utility in the virtual realm.
They are bridging the gap between luxury and the metaverse as the first fashion house to create simultaneously for both physical and digital worlds.
Together, we have agreed that they will take over a retail space in Portal and will feature in-game advertising, imagery and other experiences.
Auroboros’ centrepiece will be an initial offering of a unisex clothing item or accessory. The item will be designed as a digital wearable for Decentraland and as a physical piece to be delivered through despatch.
There will also be a special quest in Decentraland that visitors can complete in order to buy a Boson NFT that’s redeemable for the physical accessory.
A further option to have a pop-up physical store highlights the fluidity with which it is possible to move from one realm to the other.
Why we’re happy to partner with Auroboros
With Auroboros by our side, we are further demonstrating the creative potential of Portal.
Auroboros is a great cultural fit for Portal, connected by Boson Protocol, because both they and our Protocol operate at the intersection of the virtual with the real world.

As we did with Auroboros’ show in June, Boson Protocol will have a presence not only at their next digital collection, but also at their forthcoming exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London this September.
One in ten fashion items, according to Auroboros, is now bought purely for the purpose of projecting a curated image of the wearer on social media. With that in mind, those who are more interested in a purely digital option will have the chance to acquire an exclusive Instagram or SnapChat Auroboros filter.
