We play ⚽

BotSupply is a great supporter of Copenhagen FC!

We spent the day supporting the team in their match against Brondby FC.

Live from Parken

Although we were aiming at winning 5–0, the final result of 2–0 gave us a good reason to celebrate!

BotSupply got featured on Startup Italia, the most prominent magazine covering startups and innovation in Italy:

Disrupting the banking industry in Italy! Recommended read!

Be featured by Startup Italia turned BotSupply HQ into an editorial machine posting new articles and reposting interesting pieces:

I’ll give you the biggest tip when it comes to content creation: Document. Don’t create. β€” Gary Vee

For starters, we published the The Week! issue 2:

Then the first repost of a very handy Ai tools collection, posted on Hackernoon by Liam HΓ€nel β™›:

Finally, we indulged thinking to be at WIRED office! 😜

Tuesday

We Biz Dev πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’ΌπŸ’₯

Last week we went to Hamburg for the Hamburg.ai event at MindSpace, a co-working space with offices in several German cities.

The event is part of a larger initiative called CITY.AI:

It’s our goal to make AI better by proactively tackling the issue of application of AI with the right people in cities across the globe β€” city.ai

We were very surprised to discover that Copenhagen is not present in the list of city.ai hubs! 😳

So we contacted the City.ai team to start building relationships, map the Ai ecosystem in Copenhagen and plan the first Copenhagen.ai event later in June.

Stay tuned, we’ll be launching Copenhagen.ai soon!

Along the same line, we had a call with WebSummit team to talk Ai and how BotSupply could add value to the event!

Looking forward to see you all in Lisbon! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή

Wednesday

We rise πŸ“ˆ

Starting the day with an interesting discussion on innovation in the bot space with The Ramp: a brand new software development hub created by Danfoss:

This is a logical next step for us in building a framework for accelerated software development. Focus is on digital prototyping, designing, developing and deploying Danfoss software solutions for mobile, web, desktop and application programming interface (API). This is an exceptional support to our One Danfoss IoT platform, to enable connected products, cloud solutions and data access by apps β€” Peter Martin, Senior Vice President & CIO

The Ramp is a new initiative from Danfoss and we are very exited about all the crazy product we could build together!

Next up, Francesco Stasi joins the Plato Science team for a live test of their Neuro Stimulation for Knowledge Work Headset:

The wireless headset sends electrical micro-currents to stimulate your brain, prompting you in the right mindset for the task at hand β€” PlatoScience

Francesco was hoping to come out of the experiment with an IQ of 180, we are not sure that’s really the case:

Not even the time to take the electrodes away and Francesco was joining the rest of the team at KPMG Copenhagen office to discuss future collaborations:

KPMG Copenhagen Office

We were very happy to learn that our sales approach to bots and Ai services is in line with what clients are asking KPMG.

We are looking forward to work together!

Contemplating the size of KPMG network…the day the sun will never set on BotSupply’s network is coming!

The meeting at KPMG marked the end of a long sprint filled with tedious legal paperwork. The kind of work that the more it’s postponed the more annoying it becomes:

  • Contract templates
  • Standard Terms & Conditions
  • Privacy Policy in wake of next year introduction of EU Data Protection Law
  • Etc…

Well, for now that is no more the case:

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

KPMG was the last meeting of the day but that doesn’t mean it’s time to relax!

Poolside Business

Instead went back to BotSupply HQ and published the first article of a new serie on Artificial Intelligence:

The goal of this new serie is to help people and businesses that lack knowledge in Ai becoming familiar with this brave new world!

You can read the first Medium article here:

And where was our Co-Chief Data Scientist Rahul Kumar while the team was jumping from one meeting to the next?

Watching Google I/O’17 live stream and digging deep into all Tensorflow news:

We met IF in their Copenhagen office:

IF is the leading property and casualty insurance company in the Nordic region with more than 3.6 million customers.

IF office in Copenhagen

We touched upon InsureTech and the impact that Artificial Intelligence will have on the Insurance industry. We also talked about the different strategies that big players are implementing to stay relevant and innovative in an Ai first world.

⚠️EVENT ALERT⚠️

Come and join us at Copenhagen Fintech event on Chatbots the 30th of May!

More travels ✈️

Through, Finsa, our partner agency in Italy, we are discussing how bots can improve the user experience for people visiting Costa Edutainment parks and museums.

If you don’t know Costa Edutainment, you may have heard of Genoa’s Aquarium, the largest aquarium in Italy and the second largest in Europe:

Besides Genoa Aquarium, Costa Edutainment is managing Livorno Aquarium, Oltremare Park and several other Edutainment Parks where bots and Ai could drastically improve the visitor experience!

While the team was at the lake clearing their heads before a big meeting, I was heading to the airport in Bologna ready to fly back to Copenhagen.

On the way to the plane, I noticed the airport crew was busy boarding a few Lamborghini and Ferrari inside an Emirates flight…guess a sheik came to Italy for some holiday shopping!

Checking Lamborghinis in your flight is cool, but it’s nothing compared to checking in an old school racing bike:

Gio 1 β€” Sheik 0

Bu I wasn’t the only one flying!

Our bot engineer Carlos Avilan took of from Caracas heading to Copenhagen!

See you on Sunday Carlos! πŸ€™πŸ€™πŸ€™
