Zapier is created especially to connect different services, programs and applications. So, why not to integrate it with your service for the ultimate work optimization? We did it here.

The point is that between each other, programs are able to speak a special language, which only people with the programmer superpowers understand. Zapier is useful due to the fact that it helps any non-programmer to get these super powers. Zapier is created to connect different services, programs and applications in easy manner, understood for the average users.

If you pick Zapier it doesn’t necessarily mean that you lack powerful programming base or human resources, simply your company rather strive to optimize the working process and make it clear for each participant, even the least acknowledged.

What’s that?

Zapier is a universal on line constructor for automations. It can make two web applications work together simultaneously. The connection is usually established with the following algorithm: “IF an event X occurred, the Perform the action Y”.

For example:

In the case a new sheet is added to the Excel document, then it’s necessary to add a copy to Google Spreadsheet.

The most significant is that there may be millions of such combinations with a range of other useful applications, since the tool supports 691 services. Here they are:

Wide integration opportunities
  • Social networks: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.
  • Working time control: Recovery time, ClickTime, TimeCamp.
  • Google: Gmail, Google Glass, Google Sheets.
  • Microsoft: OneDrive, OneNote, Excel.
  • Tools for site owners: WordPress, Disqus, Azure Web Apps.
  • Tools for developers: Github, BitBucket, BugHerd.
  • Project management: Trello, JIRA, Podio, Slack, etc.
Manage your funds with Zapier

A case: e-mailing & PayPal payment

Let’s see how the app works on the basis of parsing e-mail letters.

The email parser from Zapier can be used as a separate service. Registration algorithm and the working principle is quite easy, so everyone can handle it:

1. Register at parsier.zapier.com
2. Create a virtual mailbox, where you will need to forward the letters for processing.
3. Send the first sample of the letter for processing to this virtual box. For example, a notification of a payment made.
4. Open this letter in the virtual mailbox and allocate space in the text that you need to extract.
5. Save the result under a meaningful name so that it can be easily found later when creating Zap.

Examples of Zap-s:

Send SMS using CallFire based on a message text.
Extract the address from the email and add it to the MailChimp mailing list.
Add a new line to the Excel file based on the data from the letter.

We do work with MailChimp too

Paypal

Zapier service is able to work with the payment systems for the ultimate comfort. The most popular worldwide is PayPal. So, lets consider another Zap creation on the basis of the payment system.

Examples of Zap-s:

If a new payment is made, the data about it is added to Google Sheets.
If a new payment is made, an event is created in Google Calendar.
If a product is paid by a new customer, then it is added to the MailChimp mailing list.

BSG messaging platform is also integrated with Zapier and uses its benefits to optimize the working process. Integration with Zapier allowed tracking the triggers for mailings and automatic actions in the service BSG.WORLD and other services used.

We’ve also considered working with Zapier based on PipeDrive and BSG integration, which already extends the opportunities and helps both us and our clients a lot.

Feel free to sign up for free, use SMS messaging and Zapier for your business process optimization!
