Welcome to day 7 of my tarot writing prompt project! If you aren’t familiar with this post series, click here to see day one and read the introduction. Today’s card is The Lovers.

What this card means

The Lovers card represents relationships, love, choices, and values. While on the surface you may think that this card is strictly about romantic love, there is more to it than that. It can refer to romantic love, and when it does it refers to a love that is based in a strong, deep, and passionate connection. The Lovers card promotes open, honest communication with those you love, romantic partners or otherwise, in order to have powerful and meaningful relationships.

This card also has to do with your relationship with yourself. Pulling this card during a reading may indicate a need to get some clarity on your personal beliefs and values. The Lovers card encourages harmony between who you are on the inside as well as the outside. It encourages you to make choices based on your own values, and not because you feel pressured to from outside forces.

Your prompt
