Three years ago, we became the first bank in the world with a fully open API. We believe that you should have the freedom to control your money and personalize your experience the way you want. bunq’s hackathons
We brought the brightest minds together here at our bunqer to build a clean alternative to traditional banking. They came together from the Netherlands, Germany and even all the way from Italy. The teams were given our API and 24 hours. Needless to say, they WOWed us with the apps they built. Oh, and the winner went home with a bunq group account of EUR 2,500! The easiest to use banking API in the world
Since bunq Update 13, our banking API became the absolute easiest to use in the world! All you need to start using it is an API key — and there you go! You can set up API calls easier than ever, or build any app you can imagine. Our marketplace already hosts 19 great apps, and more are coming! We’d love to see yours here too!
