The warriors look back on season one, reflect, and set their eyes on season two.

Season One

September 24th, 2021 — Sashimonos

The samurai lived by 8 virtuous principles. These principles guided their steps in times of peace and war. A Sashimono is a banner that would proudly feature these principles.

Before the Bushidos launch, our community minted Sashimono NFTs for free ( just paid gas).

People who hold Sashimonos gain early access to future drops.

Results: 888 sold out in under 5 minutes. 🏴

October 20th, 2021 — Private Bushidos Mint

Select roles in the Bushidos Discord community and Sashimono holders were able to mint over a 48-hour window ahead of the general public.

Roles that joined the private launch:

• OG Bushido (first 100 Discord members)
• Contributors
• Sashimono holders

October 22nd, 2021 — Public Bushidos Mint

The Bushidos awakened! The remaining Bushidos were minted by the general public.

Results: 8,888 sold out in under 5 hours. 👺

December 16th-21st, 2021 — Day of the Daitō

A samurai and their sword share a deep bond.

Those who held a Bushido had the opportunity to mint their Daito for free (just paid gas).

Results: 3,750+ daitōs minted. Our optimized smart contract reduced minting gas fees by 50–70 percent. 🗡️

Season Two

March 2022 — Seppuku Event (Ronin)

Beginning in Season 2, those who hold a Bushido and Daitō will be able to sacrificially burn both to mint a new character class, the Ronin.

This highly anticipated event will be limited. If you are worried about not being able to mint a Ronin in time (given its scarcity), you can prepare early by purchasing a Sashimono, which grants early minting access to holders.

Summer 2022 — Comic Book NFT

We’ve partnered with Macroverse to conceptualize and release a comic book NFT series that will give holders access to monthly episodes throughout season 2.

‍Those who hold a Sashimono will gain early access to mint the NFT.

Our collaborative writing masterclasses, influenced and driven by our Discord community, have been ongoing for the last month. We’ve been exploring the world of Bushidos while fleshing out the lore and story of our decentralized warriors.

We’ve also found our comic artist! The gifted and talented Mike Becker will be working with us to help bring Bushidos to life.

June 2022 — Exclusive Sandbox Partnership

The Bushidos enter the Metaverse. On top of owning property in the Sandbox, we’ve landed an exclusive collection partnership that will include Bushidos wearables, weapons and props. The collection will drop in early June. We’re thrilled to be working with Sandbox.

We also have plans to begin building out the Bushidos cityscape, as well as land experiences, for community members and visitors. 🌐
