We have a sticker that says “utilisation is the enemy of flow”. All too often at work, we want everyone to be super busy all of the time — without realising it, we are killing our ability to deliver. This is what Henrik Kniberg of Crisp calls “The resource utilisation trap”. In the video below, he takes us through why keeping people busy stops them from getting things done.
