Here comes the time of the year when everyone stops to reflect on the outgoing year and plan for the 12 months ahead. For us at BuzzShow, the time is equally important, especially considering that 2020 will mark the beginning of a new decade with many promises for the project, our community and the team.

The year 2019 has been eventful, yet challenging for BuzzShow and we can only thank the resilient and dedicated team for keeping the ship afloat. We have really come a long way and can’t wait to see what lies ahead. First, we will like to provide a snapshot of our 2019 activities.

Development Update

Buzzshow.com remains at the centre of our value delivery and as a team; we believe putting the platform in a proper shape from the get-go will go a long way to determine the project’s future. Therefore, rather than building golden castles in the air, we got down to real development this year to improve BuzzShow’s UI/UX.

The start of 2019 witnessed the release of BuzzShow Beta to the public among other key upgrades. Our devs also released the onboarding functionality for influencers to access high ticket advertising campaigns thereby giving more value to their creativity and hard work in the long-term. We also improved the Notifications Management, Friends Management and Transactions Management features. Others include influencer marketplace implementation, implementation of shared video information page and addition of new payment options (PayPal and Credit Card).

Ongoing is the platform’s code refactoring, which will transform BuzzShow into a multipage platform. This will be fully deployed by the end of January 2020.

For every tech project, development is always ongoing and same goes for us. However, we can confidently say that we now have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that is ready to launch into the next phase of user acquisition.

Exchange Listing

Previously, we announced our listing agreements with Latoken and Cointiger. While our agreements are still valid, the decision to hold back listing on the aforementioned exchanges has been a tough one for us. We firmly assure it is all for the long-term benefit of BuzzShow and our supporters.

Given our business model, we understand the importance of listing. However, the long-term success of BuzzShow will not depend on liquidity alone. A functional platform is as crucial to the success of BuzzShow as exchange listing. We simply do not want to tow the path of pump and dump projects that have graced the blockchain industry in the last 2years. We know this has not met the expectations of our community and critics alike, but it is our responsibility to make the right decisions for the benefit of the project.

Listing dates will be announced as soon as we are certain it is the right time.

Referral Bounty Program

In preparation for the next phase of BuzzShow, we will be launching a generous referral bounty program as part of our marketing efforts. Our intention with the referral bounty is user base growth. The referral system is fully developed and we will be working with selected influencers to achieve our objectives. Detailed information about the bounty and the launch dates will be provided in subsequent publications.
