THE MARKET IS OPEN!
The Council of the Six has just opened a market specifically for Serrans to trade their Holographic Data Cards. More colloquially known as Champions Tools, these are the resources a Champion deploys in their battles.
Serrans compete using data cards to direct Units, use Attachments, and enact Powers within the Arena Dome. Now you can buy and sell to tailor your loadout to exactly how you want to compete in the Grand Tournament.
There have already been thousands of listings and hundreds of trades in a few days on the Market. Some trades have been very interesting, and sometimes large, trades indeed.
One trade caught our eye. This Gold Legendary card, Rage of the Source from the Transcendent Set, sold for almost Š400,000 just days after the Market opened. There are only 17 currently in existence, so it has a Scarcity Score of 7,058,824 — which is a lot. We look forward to reporting on more eye-catching sales in the near future.
Š2,500 SCRAP GIFT
Due to the depleted resources of Serra, the Council of the Six had no choice but to develop the Sustainable Commodity Recycling and Acquisition Program (SCRAP).
Scrap* is both a currency (scrap / Š) and a representation of Serra’s advanced recycling efforts (SCRAP). It is made up of refined compound materials that can be used to trade or manufacture all manners of technical doodads. From industrious Cyborg scrapnics to Brr’tik tinkerers and the mighty Mech mega forges, all Serra’s industry and society depend on SCRAP to function.
If you are an eligible Serran, you will find this small gift in your account for supporting The Preparations, the war effort, and the Grand Tournament.
*Editor’s note: SCRAP is an ERC-20 token and so has the same potential functionality as other ERC-20 tokens.
RANKED SEASONS
To inspire competition and Serrans pushing each other to the limit, the Council of the Six launched Ranked Seasons this month. Serrans compete over a two-week period to finish top of the leaderboard. For this Season, depending on where you place on the leaderboard determines how much Alpha Fame you will be rewarded with.
We can expect Ranked Seasons to be a regular occurrence with different prizes for each edition. Sometimes only Alpha Fame, other times added scrap, other times maybe some mystery rewards. A Council of the Six insider was quoted as saying — “we want to balance the best Serrans reaping the most rewards, with making some kind of reward in reach for most competing”.
So there you have it, get practicing now, and some leaderboard rewards can be yours.
TOURNAMENT UPDATE
An important update to how Serrans will compete was announced recently. How Attachments work with Units and how you can play their Holographic Data Cards in the Arena Domes were also updated.
The update has been warmly welcomed by many Champions, and many are taking to showing off their expertise and helping other Serrans improve. All for the defense effort. You can watch them here.
