Tutorial on how to create your EOS account
In this tutorial we will teach you how to create an EOS account using the Anchor wallet and how to use it to make contributions to pomelo’s campaigns
This tutorial will be your gateway to the EOS ecosystem and through it you will be able to contribute to Pomelo’s campaigns.

We recommend creating an account on the Anchor wallet, as it has easy integration with the website. In a very simplified way we can say that:
Wallets are digital wallets where crypto assets such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs are stored.

Important: The amount of R$ 10.90 will be charged to create the account.
🔸This will be the screen you will see after downloading the wallet application on your mobile phone. Click on “Add account”
🔸Click on “Create Account”
🔸 Choose your account type. We recommend EOS Account
🔸 Choose your account name. You will use this name to make transfers with your wallet.
🔸 This is the last step!
✔️ Review the information,
✔️ Configure the security means in “Security”.
✔️ Click on “Create account”.
✅Now you will enter the payment method for those R$ 10.00 that we talked about at the beginning of the tutorial.
After confirming the payment, the screen with the message “Creating account” will appear.

Your account is created and now just transfer EOS through an Exchange to your Anchor wallet 😊
Tip: We recommend that you click on “Backup Account” so that you can backup your account and access it on another mobile device if you need to. In this step you also issue an Account Key Owner Certificate. Save that certificate! It contains your wallet access key, keep it in a safe place! ⚠️
How to contribute? 🧡
To contribute to our and other campaigns in Pomelo Grants, you need to have a wallet to connect to the site and make your contributions using EOS.
1 — We recommend creating your account on the Anchor wallet, as it has easy integration with the website. Click here to see the tutorial we made on how to create your Anchor account from scratch.
2 — Buy EOS through the Exchange (brokerage) you trust (we recommend Binance) and send it to your Anchor wallet using only the name of the account you created.
3 — After you already have your account at Anchor and already have EOS in your wallet, just access the Cambiatus campaign at Pomelo and make your contribution. Here is a video that shows how you make contributions on the Pomelo website.
