EasyElm-EOS: Type-safe interaction for Elm & EOS

Leia em Português | Lea en Español

In this 4th season of Pomelo we are raising funds to develop the EasElm-EOS project, which is type-safe integration for Elm and EOS.

What does that mean? 🤔

In this campaign, our project aims to offer a public good with the interaction of EOS smart contracts using the Elm programing language. It’s an open source tool developed internally at Cambiatus that facilitates and speeds up software development.

In addition to generating code that developers can use to interact with contracts, we can generate forms, pages, or even entire applications to interact with contracts.

This way someone who has developed a contract and wants a simple application to use or test the contract can publish an application on the public internet from a single button click. Developers who want more control can generate forms or pages that can be used in their existing applications.

With the funds from this grant, our solution will allow application developers to have greater ease and agility to interact with contracts and contract developers will be able to have an app to test and use their contracts at the click of a button.

How to contribute? 🧡

To contribute to our and other campaigns, you need to have a wallet to connect to the site and make your contributions using EOS.

1 — We recommend creating your account on the Anchor wallet, as it has easy integration with the website. Click here to see the tutorial we made on how to create your Anchor account from scratch.

2 - Buy EOS through the exchange you trust (we recommend Binance) and send it to your Anchor wallet using only the account name you created.

3 — After you already have your account at Anchor and already have EOS in your wallet, just access the Cambiatus campaign at Pomelo and make your contribution. Here is a video that shows how you make contributions on the Pomelo website.

What is Pomelo Grants?

Pomelo Grants allow individuals and organizations to obtain funding for a public goods project they are working on. Pomelo Grants uses Quadratic Funding (QF) to allocate extra funding from a matching pool to the highest impact projects based on the number of contributors.
