Meet Orestis Ilias — Cappasity’s partner photographer and the owner of After Creative Studio
The Cappasity team has interviewed Orestis Ilias, our partner photographer and the owner of After Creative Studio, to learn how he uses Cappasity to create immersive content for customers. In this interview Orestis shares the types of products that he shoots in 3D, the equipment he uses for 3D shooting, and what he likes most about using Cappasity.

Orestis, can you tell us a couple of words about your studio?
After is an Athens based creative studio, on Lakonos 26 str, and deals with photography, 3D photoshoothing, video and graphic design.
You work with different kinds of creatives. Exactly which types of content are you shooting in 3D?
There is an array of content suitable for shooting in 3D including jewelry, products, food, bottles, toys, artworks and models.
Can you tell us what equipment you usually use for shooting?
I use a Sony A7Riii and Canon 7D with different lenses, plus a tripod and a light box. I also use a turntable for products up to 5kg and a handmade turntable for products up to 40 kg.
Can you tell us what’s important for your customers when they hire you for a 3D photoshoot?
Clients mostly ask for speed and high quality. They are always thrilled with the results. Thanks to the Cappasity solution I can group the similar products and apply the same setup on them, which makes the process much easier and faster.

The simplicity and ease of achieving high quality results. It is possible to significantly speed up the process with the Cappasity software. This makes it easier to work with content without the use of third-party editing programs. It’s undoubtedly a huge plus for photographers.
What can you advise those who want to try 3D shooting but either delay it’s use or are just afraid of new technologies?
3D shooting is a big step in the technological evolution of photography and Cappasity is the bridge. All you have to do is just get started. Due to the easy process of 3D-content creation, you’ll not only enjoy the process but also be satisfied with the quick result. What’s more, the 3D visualization can be adjusted after shooting with Cappasity software.
