What’s New at Cardstack?
We’re getting ready to launch!
A lot has been happening here at Cardstack! Here is our latest update.
COMING SOON: We are about to launch Tally on testnet! Keep an eye on our Discord and Telegram announcement channels and be the first to get the news.
Our developers have been very busy. Ed Faulkner has been working at the framework level to refactor the Card SDK, which is being enhanced to support workflows with multiple participants. We want to make sure cards can truly move between different workflows, different sites, different hosts, and different hubs. Jen Weber is concentrating on the quick start to building cards using this software development kit. Meanwhile, Hassan Abdel-Rahman and Alex Speller focus on the CARD Protocol, while Derrick Camerino, Will Bagby, and Burcu Noyan are working on a library of reusable UI components for Card Folio / Tally, with the aim to provide an accessible UI that allows end users to tap into our capabilities.
We’ve recently published an article about articles! It introduces our open-sourced content management system “Card Board”, which is our first step towards decentralizing publishing and thus giving creators the power over their creations back.

Chris will be at the Hyperledger Member Summit 2019 in Tokyo on July 30. He was selected to give a talk in the “Exciting Developments” category. The topic: “Building a Media Registry with Git and Sawtooth”.
