Development Update #2
With the successful Alonzo hard-fork completed, the Cardano ecosystem will start flourishing as smart-contracts roll out. CardWallet also starts flourishing with the support of Cardano Native Tokens, as the first building block of our Cardano-centric DeFi stack.
As it is widely known in the blockchain space, Apple’s App Store is a particular challenge when in-app purchases are concerned. We are happy to announce our fiat buy and sell options have been accepted by the App Store, which represents a significant milestone for CardWallet. At the time of writing, crypto-to-crypto swap is only available on the Android ecosystem, however we are diligently working to push it through Apple’s code review process.
CardWallet’s Post MVP Roadmap
CardWallet is committed to its community, and as such we stand by our word of following collective intelligence. The challenge, however, is that we are not yet a DAO, and there is no trustworthy voting mechanism yet.
Having said this, it became clear there was an undisputed majority wish to prioritize basic NFT support as well as a Web Extension wallet.
Basic NFT support is just around the corner. You will be able to collect and view your NFT collection very soon, minting and marketplace will come at a later stage.
Web Extension is the next item on the list. Web3 dApp-connector logic is currently in the research stage in close collaboration with our strategic partners.

We have been in conversations with several high-quality projects and discussing potential avenues of mutual cooperation. We are happy to announce that we have partnered with MELD, NFT-Maker, and many more soon to announce, to build a Web3 dapp-connector standard as well as exploring the possibility of incorporating some of these project’s features natively into CardWallet’s app.
