Last week, Elad Verbin and I had an interesting conversation with a friend over dinner. After spending a few months unemployed, our friend was about to start a new job. He had hesitations. He wondered: Was it the right job for me? Will this job give me the chance to have more impact on the world? Does this work inspire me? Then yesterday, I had a similar conversation with a new friend at a party. In between jobs, she wondered: What is the right path for me?
