After CuraDAO’s first community meetup a second meetup was immediatly organized on the 2nd of September 2019. Where three new visitors joined the dialogue around CuraDAOs narrative and further collective proposal shaping. In the beginning of the meetup the CuraDAO Catalysts asked the three new visitors “why you want to partake in CuraDAO” and “What type of proposals would you like to create ?”, or see shaped by the other community members.

Thereafter, a simplified visual explination of how a DAO looks like was presented by one of the CuraDAO catalyst. This was done to help some of the new partcipants grasp where “we” the human component lays in all of the difficult technical terms.

Hereafter, the focus went to some proposal ideas from two CuraDAO members that needed some feedback and structure. For this there were two groups created focussed on the following proposals:

  • Cryptocurrency incentivized Curacao plastic clean up & Upcycling organized by CuraDAO members.
  • CuraDAO Students Rising proposal. View the proposal & comment

The proposals have been created and shared within the CuraDAO facebook group for extra feedback. Before being submitted to the CuraDAO.

A couple days after the second CuraDAO meetup CuraDAO member & co-catalyst Runy Calmera proposed CuraDAO’s first contribution reward proposal. Where Runy will explain to local Curacao webshop owners how to accept Ethereum payments via their Wordpress sites. He Requests 0.4 ETH (~$80) and 1.56% REP (Reputation) for his contribution and a 3 week duration for completion.
