Catoshi’s weekend roundup; , Another partnership announced, a bridge launch and more
Just as Catoshi builds up to it’s 1st anniversary we show that the work never stops.
The last week in the crypto space has been fairly unremarkable with the overall market ranging in a sideways manner. However, in that time we have announced another partnership, launched a bridge, announced our community celebration day and been interviewed for two AMA’s. Never a dull week at Catoshi.
Partnership with Syscoin together, once again, with Apex and UNO
Last week we announced that Catoshi is building a White Label bridge for Apex which enables the fast and safe transfer of $FTM tokens from the Fantom chain to the Avalanche and other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) networks. The ApexBridge will be insured by UnoRE and we will also work closely with the Fantom Foundation. This gives key technical support for the Fantom network and provides an official stamp of approval from the creators of a layer 1 project, Fantom.
This week we announced that Catoshi will be building another high end fully insured bridge with Apex and Uno, this time in partnership with Syscoin. This partnership will allow wrapped Syscoin (wSYS) to be bridged over to ApexSwap on Avalanche. Apex looks to launch its DEX, ApexSwap on Syscoin’s L2 in Q3/Q4 2022. This partnership will allow wrapped Syscoin (wSYS) to be bridged over to ApexSwap on Avalanche. The bridge will be powered by Catoshi’s cutting-edge bridging technology and fully insured by UnoRe, a decentralized insurance and reinsurance platform.
Apex, through ApexSwap will facilitate the transfer and utilization of different tokens cross-chain via Syscoin’s L2. The bulk of transactions on these tokens will increase the net DeFi activity on Syscoin and help maximize Syscoin’s potential to be a mainstream smart chain. The increase in DeFi activity across Syscoin will also spike rewards for Syscoin’s masternodes.
Catoshi’s working relationships with Apex, UNO, Fantom Foundation and Syscoin gives us greater legitimacy in the space and is evident of the development and effort that has occurred over the last 12 months. It is becoming something of a Catoshi community ‘in-joke’ but we have said that Catoshi’s growth will be gradual and our partnerships will have a ‘snowball effect’ leading to an increasingly large foothold and status in the blockchain bridging sector. We are starting to see this growth now and we have further significant partnerships in discussion.
Lil Floki bridge has launched
On Monday the 16th of May the Lil Floki bridge went live on The Crossing. This enables token holders to no longer be purely on the BNB Chain, but they are now able to bridge to and from the Ethereum chain. Investors are also able to buy the Ethereum version of the token directly without having to bridge at all. This bridge expands the potential Lil Floki market to those investors who prefer to trade on Ethereum rather than BNB Chain. As we know there is significant trading volume that occurs across the Ethereum network. Being able to tap into that can aid a project that is looking to move forward and spread its wings wider.
As part of our ongoing support process Catoshi took part in an AMA with Lil Floki on Friday 20th of May. It was held on Twitter Spaces which was a first for Catoshi, but it was a good opportunity to discuss the working of the bridge with the Lil Floki community and answer any questions that arose.

AMA at The Crypto Hideout
On the 19th of May the Catoshi team were interviewed at The Crypto Hideout (TCH).We have close associations with TCH and it was great to be back for another AMA. Myst always dives deep into a project and this was no different. The 80 minute interview covered the entire Catoshi project from it’s origin to the future of the project, with everything in between. We are proud that a new AMA attendance record was set during our AMA. This is testament to the Catoshi project and community, and is especially satisfying given the quality of the AMAs that are held in the knowledgeable TCH community. 25th of May is Catoshi Community day
In one week’s time Catoshi has it’s anniversary and the community will be at the centre of things.
We will be throwing a party in our Telegram group. There will be 2 periods of 2 hours where our Telegram voice chat will be open. The times are 15:00UTC until 17:00UTC and 22:00UTC until 00:00UTC. Come and hang out with team members, ask questions (we welcome difficult ones), give feedback, discuss progress and even win prizes.

$500 BUSD and 10,000 CATS
The Catoshi V1 NFT is a big thank you to those that used the migration portal towards the end of 2021. We intend to distribute these NFTs on the 25th of May as part of our celebrations. The NFTs will be airdropped into the wallets used for V1 migration. These NFTs will be stakable and will offset the fees of bridging up to 120,000 CATS.

As mentioned above, Catoshi will be distributing the V1 NFTs on the 25th of May. We also have an ongoing NFT design competition. We have started seeing some entries being submitted to the team already and many of the community are working on entries as we speak. We are excited to see what designs our community make and guessing which one our members will vote as the winner. Please see our previous update for more details, as well as the flyer below;
Just as previous weeks the bounty of $1,000 is ongoing. If you can connect a project to the Catoshi team and the project then onboards, you will be eligible to receive $1000. We have already seen community members receive bounties. There is no limit to the amount of bounties a person can receive, therefore if you successfully connect 10 projects and they are onboarded you could be eligible for $10,000.
