Catoshi onboards Crogecoin and is building them a bridge between Cronos chain and BNB chain
Catoshi have only just announced that they are able to bridge to and from the Cronus chain. The interest and excitement from that news is just starting to settle, so it can now be announced that the first Cronos chain project to be bridged is Crogecoin, meaning this week has been a 1–2 punch of Cronos related news.
Crogecoin was launched less than a month ago and has seen significant growth in such a short time. It is positioning itself as the Dogecoin of the Cronos chain and so far it seems as if it is heading in that direction. At the time of writing it has a market cap of over $24m and over 4000 token holders. The bridge to and from BNB chain should be hugely beneficial and open access to a new wave of buyers to add to their community. Given that daily trade volume is around the $1m mark this could mean that bridge volume will be good. If so it would be great news for Satoshi’s little cat.
Catoshi has built Crogecoin its’ own UI and the bridge dapp will be hosted on Crogecoin’s own website. This is yet another example of the White Label bridging facility that Catoshi offers. White Label bridging enables projects to keep their own branding and have the bridge on their own website, with the bridging technology and support supplied by the Catoshi team.
The bridge for Crogecoin makes Catoshi one of, if not the first bridge provider that can bridge a Cronos chain token other than CRO itself. This is extremely exciting for the Catoshi team and community as it gives an early mover advantage. Other Cronos chain projects will be able to approach Catoshi in the knowledge that a bridge is achievable and a working example of one exists. This will also be the case for projects that are looking to bridge to the Cronos chain.
There is not currently a date for the bridge going live but updates will be provided in both the Catoshi and Crogecoin communities. The wait certainly will not be long at all.
