This month sees yet another milestone on our tech roadmap. We finalised the multi-currency economy on the CENNZnet chain getting ready for the next phase to transition from ERC20 to our MainNet.

DApp users are now able to settle fees and transact in that apps native currency giving DApp developers more control over user fee models. Head to this blog to learn more:

CENNZnet core components stability upgrades are now in simulation testing, as we replay different types of network events on our test chain. The team has been hard at work profiling and tuning all parts of the chain. We’re also working closely with Sylo to upgrade their users prior to CENNZnet v1.0 release.

Stay tuned on our CENNZnet Twitter account to be the first to get the updates on our technology and economy.

Rust meetup

Last month at Centrality Rust meetup Sigma Prime have showcased how they’re leveraging Rust to make Ethereum 2.0 client fast and safe. We’ve also looked into how to add WASM support to a native application (GameDev Edition). Check the event video recording on our Youtube channel here.

At the next Rust meetup on 8 June Alex Sedighi, blockchain developer at Centrality, will discuss some common Rust pitfalls for a C++ developer. Then, Joseph Gentle, an all-terrain programmer and Rust enthusiast, will showcase the statecraft demo, which is a real-time data transport for viewing data that changes over time.
