Welcome to our user interface

We’re delighted to launch Chainium platform release 1.0

That’s right. It’s here. Platform release 1.0 is live! Come on in and have a play.

At the moment, our user interface shows only sample data — pretend businesses and pretend investors. This is because we’re onboarding businesses right now and we’ll launch live business share offers soon. So this sample data allows you to see our user interface in action for both businesses and investors right now, in advance of share offers going live soon.

Designing a user interface for users first

As we explained in our ‘Six steps to an awesome Chainium user experience’ blog, we’re passionate about creating a simple, intuitive user interface for all of our Chainium platform users. Our users will include business, investors and developers. They could be very experienced in equities/shares/stocks and raising business capital or they could be complete beginners. We’ve designed a user interface that works for complete beginners — with a growing volume of educational content such as help guides, FAQs and video support. Yet our user interface is also designed for the investment-savvy — with quick links to get them straight to the share trading functionality.

Agnostic of devices and browsers

We’ve built our user interface so it works on desktops, laptops and mobiles. We know that our users will logon anytime, anywhere, anyhow. So we’ve built our user interface to support them however and whenever they want to invest and manage their portfolios.

Introducing our primary and secondary trackers…

In platform release 1.0, we’re launching two brand new concepts to the market:

  1. Primary Market Tracker
  2. Secondary market tracker

Our Primary Market Tracker shows new shares — shares that you can buy directly from the business. In the traditional markets, this would be through IPOs. In the crypto world, this would be through ICOs or token sales. So these are new share offers where investors can buy shares in a business during a limited time period at a set price.

Our Secondary Market Tracker shows share trading — shares that you can trade (buy/sell) with other investors. In the traditional markets, this would be through stock markets like LSE/NYSE. In the crypto world, this would be through exchanges. So these are second-hand shares (if you like) where investors can buy shares, from another investor, at the market share price which could fluctuate continuously.

We need both a Primary Market Tracker and a Secondary Market Tracker as we’re supporting businesses to list their share offers and enabling investors to trade shares. We are not just an IPO/ICO provider. We are not just an exchange. We’re both and a lot more too.
