I
Star in the East, you rise again
On winter’s breath,
Beating back night
Storms, that rage and lash
Against blindfolds, breaking balance.

II
Paint your light
Amongst fallen clouds —
They were saturated
With the sins of summer.

III
Silk webs, wrought of fine silver
Light, from midnight’s moon,
Refracts starlight:
Guides it to our destination.

IV
Spirits soar, now we feel
Full power, new strength
To endure tempest
And her incandescent conjuration.

V
Inspiration remains, now the light
Melts, back to nucleus, frozen
Days shine in remembrance, in celebration.
