Hope has white petals
That fly high on the wind
Free

Pain blooms red and thorny
Deep into your flesh
But the glimpse of white
Fleeting

Lets the life in

I have chronic pain and lately, it has been hell. Now it is finally, hopefully beginning to slowly get better. Hope is so very important in this kind of situations!
