Introducing The Metaplace, the latest addition to the ChapterX Metaverse
After receiving one of The Metaplex Foundation’s earliest grants to build our groundbreaking metaverse, we are proud to reveal a new space for all builders, creators, and dreamers. We believe that this style of shared space is the future of DAO experiences in the metaverse.
We take great pride in building platforms for projects to effectively communicate with their communities, and our work with Metaplex will provide open conversations and experiences to refine the tools, features, and functions of the Metaplex protocol.
Through this collaboration, ChapterX and The Metaplex Foundation will work together to create the first environment inside ChapterX where the voices of DAO members can be heard. All Metaplex token holders will be members of the Metaplex DAO and will have the chance to take part in future events in Metaplex’s own virtual space, The Metaplace.
Starting today, The Metaplace will be open to anyone with a Phantom wallet, with more spaces opening in the coming weeks. As this is the first metaverse environment made for the Metaplex community, ChapterX has designed a special avatar for Metaplex DAO members for the occasion: The Builder.
For a limited time, all users who enter The Metaplace will have access to a special Builder Avatar. The Metaplace is a space where users can explore, see real-time data about Solana NFTs, make new friends, and communicate with one another using ChapterX’s chat functions (detailed guide here).
Users will have access to Builder Avatars when they enter The Metaplace.
Metaplex will launch its first virtual celebratory Town Hall in The Metaplace on Friday July 22nd to celebrate the community member who is able to find and define every Easter Egg in the space. For details, please see the Metaplex blog.

Metaplex is the NFT standard on Solana and the world’s largest NFT ecosystem. Backed by some of the biggest names in crypto, such as Animoca Brands and Alameda Research, this universal standard has helped creators build and scale their NFT projects on Solana, and the Metaplex Protocol has minted 17 million NFTs that have generated over US$3 billion in primary and secondary sales in just one year.

Taking Part in The Metaplace and Joining a Town Hall
The Metaplace courtyard is the first area to be revealed. It is designed as a space where the Metaplex community can interact with each other and participate in Metaplex events.
To explore and enter the ChapterX metaverse and The Metaplace, follow these steps:
- Visit the ChapterX website and connect your Solana wallet.
2. Approve the signature request to enter ChapterX. Note that this is not a transaction.
3. Navigate the ChapterX metaverse by using these controls.
Movement: WASD or arrow keys
Jump: Space bar
Roll: E
Crouch: Q
Access Inventory: I
Access Map: M
Enter Chat Mode: Enter key
4. Explore your environment and look for the Metaplex gateway. Press “F” to enter.
One of the most exciting features of the ChapterX metaverse is the Town Hall function that allows a speaker to connect with their community in real time.

- Select “Browse” and pick which Town Hall you’d like to join

As we build, only participants with a Pre-Alpha Pass NFT can access these areas. These passes can be won by participating in activities announced on ChapterX’s Discord and Twitter.
With the exciting introduction of The Metaplace to our ecosystem, we are looking forward to adding even more gateways and functions for projects to become part of ChapterX. We aim to bring more communities together with more ways for token holders to engage with each other and with the projects themselves.
