“I gotta prioritize this village,” you say to Tox’ar. “I can’t let the people die.”
“Well…”
With a grunt, he departs.
You meet Dara Blackfeather atop a squat sentry tower overlooking the cliffs. “Well...”
She points. “See the light?”
You nod vaguely, squinting to the east. The sun is rising over the mountains.
But then you see it… movement. At the entrance to the abandoned mine. “The orcs are here,” you say grimly, drawing your sword.
Soon the column of marauders emerge, their enormous leader riding at the front. Ugly spear-wielding brutes screech for blood.
Their first arrows fly…
