You flip the letter, expecting this to be one of Death’s cruel traps.

Instead, a threatening note:

To Queen Dyra, a warning — surrender, or your children die!

Signed: Xerxes, Prince of Dwarves.

Wtf?

You are just about to throw the note away when a black-clad ninja-assassin enters. “That’s mine!” he hisses.

You scream, then rush out to the garden.

He follows, so you leap a wall and run to the street. A market is ahead. Can you lose him there?

Then the note starts to burn your hand. You let it fall, and a portal opens up at your feet.

You decide to:
